So I have a question about updates to Galaxy watch3 will it still be getting updates and can we download 3rd party faces and apps for it from the galaxy store?

Yes, Samsung will still be supporting the Galaxy Watch3, I believe up to 3 years.

I've got one. Australian version just got access to bp and ecg measurements.

More running metrics and analysis too.

Battery life is less than the og galaxy watch, but the watch 3 is slimmer and fits better.

Yes it does. It's not a continuous measurement though, so you'll have to press the button to measure each time.

Just adding on, the Watch3 will receive 3 years of Tizen updates from release whilst the Watch4 runs on Wear OS which is a completely different platform. 

The Watch3 and older devices will remain on Tizen and will not be switched over to Wear OS as the hardware was not optimised for this platform.
