Thanks for reaching out! If WhatsApp calls on your Galaxy Watch Ultra are only showing numbers instead of contact names, please try the following steps:
Check contact sync – On your phone, open the Galaxy Wearable app → Watch settings → Apps → make sure Contacts and Phone permissions are allowed.
Enable contact access for WhatsApp – On your phone, go to Settings → Apps → WhatsApp → Permissions → ensure Contacts is set to "Allow".
Update apps & software – Make sure both WhatsApp and your Galaxy Watch Ultra are running the latest updates.
Restart both devices – Restart your phone and the watch to refresh the connection.
Re-pair the watch (if issue continues) – In the Galaxy Wearable app, unpair and set up the watch again.
If the issue persists after these steps, we recommend submitting an Error report via the Samsung Members app so the development team can review it.
