Galaxy Watch6 Classic not showing txt/phone call notifications

I have a GW6 Classic and this week it has stopped giving notifications of txt messages and phone calls. I have gone through all the steps to ensure notifications are turned on, DND is turned off and have restarted both devices without any luck.

Watch was purchased in May and has run beautifully, up till this last week.

Does anyone have any other advice as to something I may have missed?

Check if the permissions are still set up properly.

I have the same problem with my Watch 5.
I also had/had a problem with allowing notifications for the watch manager app on my phone.
If I tap the notification, it doesn't show the app in the list.
I tried to hide the notification since I couldn't do anything else.
That seemed to cause the notifications to stop on my watch. Undoing that seemed to fix it
