With the recent release of Galaxy Watch 6 Samsung is making a big deal about fitness, health and sleep tracking features. And yet the accuracy of its watches continues to lag behind competition year after year. Every year we get similar reports from a wide range of sources. What's the point of having all these features if they are unreliable? Going back to the bezel on the classic was a good move, and hardware overall is solid, but from accuracy perspective, watch 6 seems to offer no improvement at all compared to watch 5. Currently I own a sports watch. The screen supports only 64 colours and there are limited smart watch features to speak of. But it performs really well (not to mention that the battery lasts for days even with heavy usage). I have considered replacing it with a Galaxy Watch but I just can't see myself downgrading on actual performance. I am not sure why Samsung keeps missing the mark on this but hopefully they can address it, be it via firmware updates or subsequent releases of watches.

Would be keen to hear others thoughts on this.
