A total of 3 times just yesterday, I selected a debit card when paying but today the transactions posted on a different card, and I'm 100% sure I selected the debit card.
I searched and found a thread on Reddit of other users who experienced the same thing.
Has Samsung or Google even acknowledged this problem? If Google Pay does this regularly, it's as good as useless unless you only set up one payment card!
I literally lost $40 due to this bug.

WearablesSounds to be a Google Pay issue, more than a Samsung device issue. 🤔

Yes, and the rep said that only the default card will get used for payment, even if another card is on the screen (which is bogus.)
In fact, I just checked the Google Wallet activity screen and the card where the charges posted is not showing anything, whereas the debit card is showing all the other transactions apart from the 3 that it messed up.
Sounds like a bug to me.

I agree that definitely does sound like a bug that's why I just pay with my regular debit card instead of relying on Google pay or Samsung pay nowadays
