My card won't work with watch samsung pay

My original galaxy watch refuses to work with my CIBC debit card even though it works fine on my S25. For more information, it says "Card Issuer Unsupported"

At the moment, you can only add credit cards to Samsung Wallet on Galaxy Watches.

You could use Google Wallet on your watch for a Debit card.

Thanks for the clarification. Since the original Galaxy Watch runs on Samsung’s Tizen OS, it doesn’t support Google Wallet.

Unfortunately, Samsung Pay on Tizen has limited card support, and at this time, CIBC debit cards aren’t compatible, even though they work on your phone.
