Part 1: Smartwatch vs Automatic Watches

Heya Members!!! I was running a survey on my Instagram to explore the receptiveness of my followers towards Smartwatches since wearable devices are getting better, smarter and more durable year after year!

Are you a smartwatch person? Or an automatic watch enthusiast? Why not both?

To my surprise, the receptiveness of my audience towards Smartwatches stands at only about 25%. This shows that most people still value the classier and less imposing automatic watches. 
 

Surprised by the audience's response regarding their obvious preference for Automatic Watches

I do believe that for different people, they have their own set of priorities when putting on a watch. The question is either:

• Is my Watch an accessory to complement my fit and promote my social status? (The timepiece on your wrists are often an early indicator of your financial standing)
• Am I looking for an overall package to complement my lifestyle?

A smartwatch shows a bolder side of the user with the Watch Ultra featuring a striking orange accent. Best part is that these are customizable! (Straps, Watch Face, Widgets)

An automatic watch meanwhile, maintains a certain form of elegance and refinement in its craftsmanship. Mainly suitable formal events and not for all occasions.

As everyone began to own their mobile phones, the use of watches had actually declined along the years, with some people deeming it as a luxury. However with the resurgence of smartwatches with its wide array of features, one cannot deny that it is an exciting segment of electronic devices with lots of potential to advance!
