Rogers advertises the Samsung ultra LTE watch, but it is next to impossible to purchase thru them. I bought the watch thru Samsung, but now Rogers can't activate it on the Rogers network. If it was Apple would be no issue. Any budddy eles run into this.

You haven't stated WHY you can't! What's the limitation? Did you try yourself or co tactrogers directly with an active account that's in YOUR name and NOT under someone elses who's the primary account holder.

Would it help you if someone ONLY replied to your inquiry with "yes" and that's it???

I swear regardless of how technology has advanced the internet and made it so much easier since Google's search people using it are become less and less intelligent and more and more lazy!

Hi dpeat,

We understand how frustrating this situation can be. Since you purchased the watch directly from Samsung, it’s possible that the device's IMEI is not pre-registered in Rogers' system, which may be causing activation issues and system updates on their end.

We recommend verifying with Rogers if they support BYOD (Bring Your Own Device) activation for the Galaxy Watch Ultra LTE. It may require a specific eSIM profile from Rogers. You could also try reaching out to their technical support team or visiting a Rogers store for assistance.

Thank you.

This is exactly what the Samsung rep said the IMEI isn't pre-registered. Sounds like they can't do it after.

Aha!
Call in5o Roger's wireless tech support team and ask for a possible escalation.

Maybe even ask if there is a generic IMEI that can be added into their billing system - your price plan may need to be updated. If this can be done when your Watch connects to Roger's' network switch then the proper imei can be updated into their lot of allowed devices.

I'm having the same issue. I got my watch from rogers on March 10, and it won't connect to the lte network. I have been on the phone with tech support and it the store for the past 15 days and its just a gaint loop. Call tech and told watch isn't linked to phone, and I need the store to do it. Go to the store and been thought multiple esims and then told its tech support issue. What this is the loop I'm in. Was at the store again for 3 hours with the person at the store and 2 phones one with the store tech support and the other with rogers tech support. And the same answer the watch isn't linked. Now told by rogers to contact samsung tech support . A breakdown of what has been done : March 10 purchased watch, not connected tried more esims no luck. Called tech they tried a few things was told go to store. This continued for the week. I also contacted samsung support and they wanted to look at the watch. But on the 15th rogers wanted to swap out watches and the same issue. So today I will be trying to contact samsung support again and see what they say.
