The ear buds have started to sharply beep after not being used for a few weeks and left in a secure 68 degree room temperature area so I'm confused as to how they could be over heated but in finding this issue I went to register my product which was purchased in February  roughly 5 months ago and I gave the date of purchase and receipt and the site proceeds to display a message stating that the model is invalid

If you're in Canada, then you should be using Samsung's Canadian site.

Samsung.com is the US site, so that's why you're getting that message.

Here's the link to Samsung's Canadian site:

Hi, we suggest you try the right bud serial number which is located on the box. And we would like to inform you that When you use the Galaxy Buds Live for an extended period of time, they may feel hot or warm.
This is normal and should not affect the device lifespan or performance.
If the Galaxy Buds Live overheat or feel too hot for a prolonged period, do not use them for a while. If the earbuds continue to overheat, we request you to get the buds examined by the Samsung authorized service technician so that they can determine the root cause of the issue and fix it.
You can visit any nearest authorized service center . https://www.samsung.com/ca/support/service-center/.

They clarified that they are located in the US, which is likely to be the issue.
