I have used Galaxy watches for the last 4 years. My previous watch was a Watch4. I used the NFC feature to pay all my shopping using 2 credit cards. I have just switched to Watch6 and only one of the 2 cards working on my Watch4 will activate on my Watch6. The Watch4 uses Samsung Pay. The 6 uses Samsung Wallet. I had an online chat with Samsung and they said it was a problem with the bank. How come it all works fine on my Watch4? I think incorporating Samsung Pay into Wallet has introduced  a bug.

Do you have Samsung Wallet in your phone? Do you have the same issue adding your card there?

It can be an issue with your bank support for the new Samsung Wallet and not an issue on the watch itself.

I'm having this issue too and have discovered in the process of transferring to the watch the name defaults to 'James Bond' - verified by my bank. Samsung have said they know there is a fault but I have to prove it's happening and there is no way I can do the steps they have asked for .......my banks team have been onto Samsung for this issue to be fixed, which I'm guessing more banks hopefully will be and we get an update soon - really disappointing

I bought the Samsung 6 watch couldn't use nfc as the watch kept changing my name to James bond and obviously my name different on my card so unable to use it . Samsung blamed the bank but after many trips into bank branch with this problem they said there nothing they could do until Samsung sorted the soft wear problem in the end after asking for a refund on watch having to go to ombudsman I got a refund and went back to using my Samsung watch 4 which I have no problems with every things works very disappointed I've always had Samsung Wright from when they first came out . Your product s should be getting better not worse maybe time to look at apple on my next up grade

I just received my new Galaxy Watch 6 Classic yesterday. I traded in my GW 4 Classic using Samsung Pay with zero issues.  Samsung Wallet on the GW 6 Classic kept resetting itself and deleted my credit card each time I accessed Samsung Wallet in the Wear app on my phone.  I finally grew tired of this and switched to Google Pay on my watch.  Visit https://www.slashgear.com/1401896/how-to-use-google-wallet-samsung-galaxy-watch/ for instructions.  I may try Samsung Wallet again another time, but I am tired of acting like a dog chasing its tail in circles for hours on end.
