Samsung Watch 4 issue...

I am pretty sure the official moderators won't help much, so it'll  be great if bros and sis here could give me advise on this.

Having the new update for samsung watch 4, I was really glad that watch 4 could finally sync heart rate to Samsung health as shown here.

However, it seems that my happiness was short lived as the watch and phone seemingly unpaired themselves resulting in my heartrate flattening 1 hour into the ride as like this

So I spent the next hour or so trying to pair them whilst on the bike.. and to my dismay, I was greeted with a stuck at 88% ready screen as so:

Now, I have to reset my watch? My question is, what info on my phone will be lost? I have a mobile plan on this watch. Will it be affected if I reset my phone?

Really hope the official sources will bother to help.

This situation really **bleep**, especially so because I chose samsung over a better working , more integrated and user friendly garmin watch. Its cheaper BTW.

Hi Bro... Same Watch ️ 4 user here... May I ask a few question before I can try to answer your enquiries...

1. What phone u using and software version?

2. Watch 4 BT or LTE? Software on latest software?

3. Did u accidentally off your BT on your phone or your watch that day when your watch n phone unpair themselves?

4. Did u back up your phone data everyday?

5. Did u back up your phone data everyday?

Sorry to b so long winded... just want to know all info before I can b more precise in helping u... Cheers...

2 watch 4 44mm lte latest software as well here the ability to have heart rate on samsung health
3. Didn't touch anything.. just curious that my heart rate didn't change

Go Galaxy Wearable app > watch setting > account and back up
All your back up and restore data all there...

Maybe u can do a clear cache on your Wearable app first to see does it works...

Resetted and pair.. and got unpaired again. Now resetting again

Clear cache for Wearable app on phone no use?

Reset and pair if not wrong got to clear all data on watch right?

Yes all data are cleared. No use clearing cache. Thing is there's also no option to back up daily mine got back up only once 2 weeks ago
