Samsung watch 6 47mm poor battery Performance

I have had every version of Samsung watch dating back to Samsung watch 46mm. I usually carry the same settings. My watch 5 pro had a great battery life. With the very same settings my Galaxy watch 6 47mm classic requires at least 2 charges a day. I'll go for a 30 min walk with my walk exercise step counter on and my Buds2 Pro playing music through my watch. In 30 minutes I loose 35% of battery life. This is the worst battery performance of any Samsung watch I have ever owned...extremely disappointing.

Go into your wearables app > watch settings > battery and device care > battery

And check what's eating at your battery and see if you can't change any of the settings or close the apps that are running in the background.

The battery of the watch 5 pro is better, hands down.

But I still get close to 3 days battery with my watch 6 classic.

I used to get close to 4 days on my watch 5 pro

Yeah I know what's eating my battery life. The bottom line is 6 ***. They made the screen bigger and kept the battery the same and it just didn't work. Used to get a day and a half with the old 5. What's the use in having all the monitors and sensors if you have to charge the watch twice a day

Not my 1st watch. I am well aware of what's draining my watch battery. The bottom line is Samsung increased the screen size and kept the same size battery as the 5. The result is poor battery performance. Other than a possible software upgrade there will be no help as you can't upgrade the battery.

Curious how many apps are enabled for notifications and how many notifications show up every hour per app?
IG, FB, WhatsApp, etc all those can be very chatty and burn battery life on any smart watch.
