So yeah... if you have a tattoo, forget the sleep apnea function 😅 i have a full sleeve and tried it for 2 nights and it just keeps saying not enough data.

Gonna try on my other arm tonight that has no tattoos (for now 🤣) and I'll update you guys.

Just wanted to put it out there if anyone wanted to know.

Hi Deeezzyyy,

Thanks for sharing this information, as it is valuable for anyone with similar challenges!

Positioning it above the tattooed area could give the sensors clearer access to your skin.

A snug fit ensures the sensors maintain constant contact. Keeping both the watch sensors and your skin clean can improve readings.

I don't have tatoo or scar. But still getting not enough data. I do shut down my phone at night. I am gonna try leave my phone on at night and see if that make the differece.

My phone is on all night and my watch successfully completed the 2 night test for sleep apnea

Maybe the phone on is one of the requirement.

yeah, I have a full sleeve with heavy dark ink just where the watch sits and it doesn't even recognize it is in my wrist. I had to start using it in my right arm where I don't have any tattoos. I've had couple of Apple watches in the past and I had exactly the same issue.

I don't have the same issue with my Garmin but it doesn't have the same features of course, but however, it is able to follow my bodily functions through the tattoos.
