The fitness challenge for 30% off doesnt take my steps from before?

I have walked a total of 90k steps since the beginning of the challenge but I didn't know the challenge existed until today. Is there any way to get my steps from before?

I don't know for sure, but I would think that it is not possible. 

I know that there have been issues previously with some people who were apparently cheating with the number of steps, ie: 90,000 steps in an afternoon. This is also the reason why 3rd party apps can no longer contribute to some of Samsung Health's measurements.
