Hey folks

I installed a stainless steel band on my Classic 4 and due to careless storage of the watch in a gym bag, the bracelet came into contact with the watch face and scuffed the glass. Does anyone have advice on how to polish out the scuffs, what products to use and methods? Would a watch repairer or Phone repair shop be the place to take it?

Also, which particular screen protector is the best for this model (46mm Classic) because I've read many reviews about them not fitting and leaving gaps between the bevel.

Cheers

It would need to be a polish specifically for glass.
Might be best to speak to a jeweler/watch shop first.

Depending how deep the marks are, you might not be able to do anything and polishing them out is going to remove more material.

Hi @Julz77, I would suggest bringing it in to your nearest Samsung service centre for an assessment of the damage.

Please be aware that due to our Privacy Policy, your device may be factory reset before being assessed. I highly recommend backing up your device via Smart Switch, OneDrive and/or Google to ensure none of your data is lost.

I'd recommend Gadgetshieldz screen protector which is a film that provides enough protection against cracks of the display. This protector doesn't leave any gaps on the edges as you asked for and this protector has a self-healing feature that dissolves the scratches that occur on it.
