Thinking about taking your Samsung Galaxy Watch for a swim? Good news—many Samsung smartwatches are built to handle water! Whether you're hitting the pool, running in the rain, or hopping in the shower, your watch is designed to keep up.

To make the most of its water resistance, enable Water lock mode before diving in. This feature prevents accidental screen touches and wake-up gestures while you’re in water. You can activate it from the Quick settings panel or through Settings > Advanced features > Water lock. If you start a swim workout, Water lock mode turns on automatically.

Samsung’s Galaxy Watch Ultra even supports saltwater swimming—just remember to rinse it with fresh water afterward. While most Galaxy Watches are water-resistant, it's always best to check the specific rating for your model.
