Hello, the inactivity reminder doesn't tracks activity, it launches exactly after 50 minutes of the scheduled start, it doesn't matter if I was walking just 10 minutes before.

When I bought the watch, after the reminder I get up, walked some steps, and it sends the notification that I was active again, resetting the 50 minutes, and if in the middle of that 50 minutes I was active, it resetted automatically again, sending the notification only when I was inactive for 50 minutes long, now I can walk a kilometer and it doesn't notes as I was active again, it can send the notification that I'm inactive even when I'm walking.

This has been happening for months, maybe some update has broken it? what has happened with this?

Hi Rumaf,

We are sorry to hear this issue from you. It sounds like the inactivity reminder feature on your smartwatch isn't functioning as expected.

A simple restart can resolve minor glitches or software conflicts.

The settings might have been changed or corrupted during an update.

  • On your watch, navigate to Settings > Reminders > Inactivity Reminder.
  • Turn the feature off, restart the watch, and turn it back on.
  • Ensure the start time and end time of the reminder are configured properly.

If there's a sync issue between the watch and its companion app, unpairing can refresh the connection.

  1. On your phone, open the companion app (e.g., Galaxy Wearable).
  2. Unpair the watch, then reconnect it.
  3. Ensure all permissions are granted during setup.

Battery-saving measures can restrict activity tracking in the background. On the watch, go to Settings > Battery and disable any extreme power-saving modes.

If paired with a phone, go to Settings > Apps > Galaxy Wearable and ensure it is not optimized for battery usage.

Thank you.
