I bought my 5 pro used and in the app it shows a Telus mobile plan I can turn on and off. Is it still linked to the previous owner?

I think it might be because you shouldn't see this normally

Where it says SERVICE STATE it says in service

Then it likely still is but unless you want to pay on their account it will likely disappear shortly🤣

I think if you were to reset the device this would likely disappear but not certain as I have never ran into this

I set the watch up under my account when I got it. So it must see the esim on the network

But did you reset the device

This would remove anything from before you purchased it which I think would be best incase there is something we are not aware of carried over from previous owner as spyware etc etc.

Ya I rgink it automatically wipes it when it's connected to a new phone.

If it did you wouldn't be seeing any thing from previous owner

I would just reset the watch and set it up as your own and then you are good

So if you buy a used phone with a sim card on a valid plan it won't show up after you initialize the phone with your info?
