I bought my 5 pro used and in the app it shows a Telus mobile plan I can turn on and off. Is it still linked to the previous owner?

Not sure who would sell you a used phone with a sim card registered to them on a valid plan cause you would be able to rack up charges to their account

If you reset a device it is supposed to put it back to the way it was as if you bought it  brand new from the store or wherever

But you can only pair your watch with one phone at a time. You can't pair one watch with multiple phones at the same time. You can switch which phone your watch is paired with but you need to reset your watch to factory settings first. Then you can pair your watch to the new phone

All this has nothing to do with the fact you can see someone elses telus account on your device.

Yes the watch has an esim that must still be active. I have it turned off and have no interest in it but was just curious. No way in hell I am reseting the device because I am 100% sure it will be exactly the same. Like I said it's as if someone left a valid Sim card in a used phone. You really piss me off because every single comment you made you told me to reset the device. That makes you a massive time wasting ***.

You never told me it was a watch with an esim in it which is just the same as buying a phone with someone elses sim card in it with an active account
