Watch Classic 6 automatically sends received calls to phone

Hey all, 

My watch classic 6 has started automatically sending my calls to my phone when I answer.  It did not do this before, I have searched all the reddit posts etc., reset the watch, checked for bluetooth setting both on the watch and Pixel 6 pro but cannot find a way to stop this.   I have updated to the latest android and One UI 6.0. 

If I have ear buds in the watch answers first on the watch then I have to switch to the ear buds?  All other watch functions are working perfectly. 

It's super frustrating, 

any advanced help would be much appreciated.

Check the Settings in your phone's Bluetooth & Wearable app.

It sounds like your watch is automatically redirecting call audio to your phone after answering, which isn't the intended behavior. Since you've already tried resetting the watch and checking standard Bluetooth settings, let’s go over a few additional steps you can try:

Bluetooth Permissions & Priorities. Go to Settings > Connected Devices > Bluetooth. Tap the settings next to your Galaxy Watch6. Ensure Calls and Audio are both enabled. If the issue persists, try toggling Calls off, restart your phone, and toggle it back on.

Check Audio Output. On the watch, open the Phone app Tap the More options (⋮) > Settings. Set Call Audio to Watch speaker.

Connections > Bluetooth Remove any connected earbuds from the watch’s Bluetooth list.

We recommend pairing your earbuds to the phone directly, not the watch, to prevent routing confusion.

Hi Helenna, 

Thanks for the quick reply, when I open the Phone app on the watch there is no "More" options (three dots).  

I also toggled off/on the "enable calls" on my Pixel 6 Pro

I've attached a pic all permissions are enabledcan't see any 3 dots for "more"

tried all of the recommended actions, but the watch still sends to phone.  This is a recent occurrence with one of either the watch updates or the android update.
