WearablesHello Toxicfire,
Thank you for reaching out to the Samsung Community and sharing your experience with your Galaxy Watch. We are sorry to hear that when a feature you’ve relied on suddenly appears restricted, especially after consistent use without issues.
The message you received about recalibration and device compatibility may be related to recent software updates. While your watch has worked in Canada previously, updates can sometimes adjust feature availability depending on regulatory requirements or device support guidelines.
Here are a few steps you can try:
- Ensure your watch and Samsung Health Monitor app are updated to the latest versions.
- Restart both your watch and phone to refresh the connection.
- Confirm that your Samsung Health Monitor app region settings match your current location.
If the issue continues after completing the troubleshooting steps, please reach out to our Live Chat Support team for further assistance.(https://www.samsung.com/ca/support/contact/)

WearablesHello Toxicfire,
Thank you for reaching out to the Samsung Community and sharing your experience regarding the measuring blood pressure on your Galaxy Watch. We appreciate your time and efforts for performing the steps.
The Galaxy Watch Active2 and newer models do support blood pressure monitoring. To use this feature, you’ll first need to calibrate the watch correctly. Once calibration is complete, you can measure your blood pressure directly from the watch at any time, even without a smartphone connection.
To view and track your measurements, simply sync your Galaxy Watch with the Samsung Health Monitor app on your smartphone. This ensures your readings are stored securely and can be reviewed over time.
