yeah i also start to realise that the nfc on the watch is more of in-between the edge and and watch surface .. where i previously thought that it is underneath the watch surface. now i positioned my watch like 45 degree surface and edge to scan and it seem the scan has higher successful rate
Ah.. yeah I do that too.. last time my Watch Active 2 NFC was at the top edge of the watch. Then came Watch 4, supposedly should be the screen, but like u said, angling at 45° seems to be the optimal position for the card reader to sense the Watch's NFC.
