WearablesI have a Galaxy S23 smartphone bought from Samsung's Aussie website.
I'm interested in buying a Watch6.
The only Watch6's still for sale appear to be international versions.
If I purchase an international version will *all* the functions (including ECG) operate when I set it up here in Australia and pair it with my Australian S23 phone?

Hi @DazP, yes you can successfully use the international version of the Watch 6 in Australia.
I recently purchased a Watch 6 from overseas and didn't realise it was the international version. When you try to set up the watch you won't find "Australia" as a region to base your set-up on. However after doing some googling I found that if you set-up if you are based in UAE (i.e. United Arab Emirates) you get all the full health monitoring functionality (i.e. BP, ECG, BMI, etc). I have paired my 40mm Watch 6 with my S23Ultra.
Only recommendation after using it now for 1.5 months is go for the 44mm size version if you can get it. The 40mm version only has a 300 mAh size battery which is pretty gutless. Even after doing all the tweaks like turning off adaptive brightness, no auto fitness tracking, no gps tracking, muting notifications, etc you will hardly get thru 24 hours without having to charge, especially if you want to use the sleep tracking functionality.
Would probably go for the 44mm with the bigger 425mAh battery.
