First of all, I am sorry that I am posting english in the Samsung Korea Community but the others are not good and they are not really helping. This article is about the oversharpening in videos. All the screenshots are taken from videos captured by the Galaxy S23 Ultra. Videos captured by the Galaxy S23 Ultra are very good looking, I love it, but my main complain is about the oversharpening. Oversharpening makes the video looking too artificial and not good. Here are the samples:
In these samples you can see white/grey lines around the objects/humans/trees and that is caused because of the oversharpening. It does not look good, it looks fake and artificial. Proof that it is caused from oversharpening is here: https://shutha.org/node/834
Now, how this could be fixed is either the Camera Team gets rid of the oversharpening or they bring a feature where you can disable or decrease sharpening in videos, just like picture softening for photos. We are thankful for Samsung for many camera setting features and modes that other phones don't have, but we would like to see a improvement to get rid of the oversharpening.
