The unknown tracker alerts are now available for phones running Android 6 and up. It will alert you if an unknown tracker (airtags or smart tags) is following you.

Check it now, go to Settings > Safety and emergency > Unknown tracker alerts. Its "on" by default and need location to be turned on to properly work. You can also use manual scan to scan for trackers.

I never knew about this feature. But, thankfully, it is on by default on my phone. Thanks for the tip 🫶

Its available for all phones running Android 6 and up, with updated Google Play Services and Google Play System updates.

I'm using the A52 5G so it should be available too for A54 5G

I attempted this and it does not work, I have a registered airtag I recently purchased to see if it worked and the "scan now" says "No tracker detected" I hope this bug is patched up soon.

I run manual scans in my car, using the built in tracker alerts and another app I downloaded. It keeps saying tracker detected, I hit play sound, nothing. I called the cops, their apple phones didn't detect a tracker at all they said they would've gotten alerts. My ex had a tracker connected to my car and the most recent air tag has been in my car for a few months and noone not apple or Samsung can help me find it or tell me what to do to find it or why it's being detected in my car ... I hate that these things exist!
