Samsung, what is going on? How is my battery draining at THIS RATE? It hasn't even been 24 hours since I've last charged my device and it's in need of charge already. Under 24 hours with no increased usage? Samsung, is there a patch of some sort in the works? And if so, will it be released soon? This can't be good for my battery health.

Also, between taking these screen shots now writing this (12:34pm to 12:54pm) I've lost 2%. I've owned multiple Samsung devices over close to a decade and I can't remember seeing this kind of drain.

Just out of curiosity, what type of charger are you using?

Either Anker Prime 67W USB C Charger (with Anker cable that enables SF charge) and if I'm out, Sharge SUPERVOOC 55W & PD 40W.

Anker is a good brand. Even though your using a 67w charger, the device will max out at 45w

Hi LXN,

We understand how frustrating unexpected battery drain can be, and sorry to hear that your'e experiencing this issue after the update.

To help improve battery performance, please try the following:

Please try the recommended Steps:

Review Battery Usage by App: Navigate to Settings > Battery > Usage since last full charge and check for any apps using excessive battery in the background.

Wipe Cache Partition. This can help if any temporary system files are causing conflicts after an update: Power off the device. Press and hold Volume Up + Power until the Samsung logo appears. Use the volume buttons to highlight Wipe cache partition, and confirm with the Power button. Reboot the device.

Safe Mode Test: Boot into Safe Mode (Press and hold Power → Tap and hold Power Off → Select Safe Mode) to see if third-party apps may be contributing to the issue. If battery life improves in Safe Mode, an app may need to be removed or updated.

Submit an Error Report: If the issue continues, please open the Samsung Members app > Support > Send feedback > Error reports > Battery. This allows our development team to analyze your device logs and provide targeted support.

We truly appreciate your patience as we work to ensure the best experience for all Galaxy users. Your feedback is valuable and already helping us improve future updates. Please let us know if the issue persists after trying these steps.

Thank you.
