You have to use Patched Odin to Flash the US Firmware. Regular Odin will fail to Flash.  You should also download the stock Q Canadian Firmware before you begin to flash anything.

You also need to flash the betas in the proper sequence. Your phone will factory reset and you should have a backup of your phone.

Samsung should just include Canada in the beta but alas we are never included and always one of the last to get the update.... Canadians should revolt and stop buying Samsung devices until they give us the betas too... instead we have to resort to shady updates. Samsung wake up and treat us Canadians like we buy your stuff!!

Hi firasbenj, Samsung won't recommend and advise any kind of information regarding rooting or flashing your Samsung device. Please note that rooting disables some of the built-in security features of the operating system, and those security features are part of what keeps the operating system safe, and your data secure from exposure or corruption.

Flashing the US stock Samsung firmware is NOT "rooting" your phone!

You are not flashing a custom boot.img.

You should only flash the US betas is you know what you are doing, but it has nothing to do with Root, it does not even affect your warranty in north america.

Don't spread false information.
