Has anyone had any luck trying to get the notification panel to open using the fingerprint sensor. I just upgraded from the flip 3 and this was something I used regularly.

Sadly, this feature has been dropped in One UI 5.1.1.
Hopefully, Samsung will bring it back.

They say it's a hardware limitation with the new fingerprint scanner. Don't think it will come back in the future. Hope I'm wrong.

Some says it's a hardware change Samsung made to the Flip's fingerprint scanner. From capacitive to ultrasonic, that's why it's not working now.
I can't find any official spec sheet from Samsung stating this, so take it with a pinch of salt.
