Hi all samsung members I have had samsung phone for ever and they are amazing . Phones like S7 S8+ S9+ S21ultra and S22 ultra and as members we get discount on new models and they offer a trade in deal well .I bought the S22 ultra when the S23 was released the S22 was still in the box only had it two days so the s23 was released and my ears pricked up however they would not trade my S22 in as it was still brand new and unopened . I get its a busssines and it's all about profit but what happened to old time service . It would of been great after being such a loyal customer if they had said for your loyalty why don't you take the S22 back and we will let you upgrade to the S23 for may be couple hundred dollars but no so as for there service and good customer relations they have non SORRY samsung but time for a change. Also just upgraded software on my S21 to the U5 and the phone is slow battery usage high screen crashes internet slow if these updates are to improve our phones then please make sure they do rather than iw them down

If you explore Samsung members' posts you will find many complaints about both service and sales. I am starting to think that the Samsung family has put a poor quality family member in charge to minimise their impact on the rest of Samsung (bit like a "remittance man", look it up). Trade-ins and upgrades are done through Asurion (a separate company), a bit like a used car yard, undervaluing, claims of non-receipt of trade-ins and other faults, other members have complained vigorously with some complaints to the TIO and other consumer bodies. More recently S22 and S23 models have had over-heating and high battery use plus 5G connection problems. I am not sure if all models have been fixed but at least one of these models has recently had a firmware update which seems to have provided a fix. For further information Google terms like Samsung phone overheating, ABC and Samsung, etc. The ABC reported that Samsung had promised to reimburse service charges for cases where the phone had been sent for service due to some of these problems. I am a cynic because I doubt whether those complainants have been contacted directly.
I like the phones and the interfacing with Google products but I suspect that Samsung's sales have reled on basic quality and market dominance. However, if I bought again I would do so through a third party due to Samsung's delays in delivery times and poor responsiveness.

You must be from Samsung. What about the update that crashed alot of people's phones and had all their files wiped. Photos and everything. Still haven't heard if it is safe to update. They dare to not care!!!

I'm still waiting 9 weeks later for help with issues I encountered during that update. Samsung simply do not care. I will never be buying another Samsung product
