It looks like it can't be used with the Samsung flip cover. Pity.

Would the flip cover be an issue mounted in that cradle, when the phone is opened though?

Or are you looking at using it in candy bar mode?

The reason I'm using the flip cover is because of the front screen. It feels too vulnerable!

The flip cover would be wider than the phone when opened making it impossible for the cradle to grip the phone.

Actually, you would insert the Fold3 with the power/volume keys facing down.

This is so the wireless charging can function properly.

In this way, your cover would be extended at the top, not the side.
If you look at Samsung's image, you will notice the hinge running left to right, rather than top to bottom.
