OthersHi Samsung Members!
As frigid temperatures sweep across Canada 🥶, we hope you stay cozy, warm and safe! How is your city/town handling the extreme weather?
Keeping your Galaxy devices safe from extreme cold temperatures is also important. The optimal temperature for Galaxy devices is 0°C to 35°C, so make sure you use and store your devices properly to avoid damage.
Don't forget that the Galaxy Unpacked event will be on Wednesday, January 17th, 1 PM EST! Pre-register now: Galaxy Unpacked [EN]/Galaxy Unpacked [FR].
Did you know that the Galaxy Book4 series was unveiled a few weeks ago globally? Equipped with the latest Intel® Core™ chips and various new technological innovations, the Book4 series will mark Samsung PC's new era of AI. Watch the introduction video here and read more about the product here.

OthersMiss the OG @samsung_ben's [Hot Topic].
These aren't even thinly veiled sales pitches.
Hot Topic, should include information about upcoming updates, address any information regarding delays in updates, address any concerns over bugs & expected resolution dates, new features etc.
We are Canadian, and don't really need advice on hydration in summer, and staying warm in winter.
If I was interested in this, I'd get a brochure online.

OthersWhen I traded in my Note 10 plus they said it had screen/backglass damage that they woukdnt even provide evidence of after repeated requests. I treasured that phone and I never dropped it ever.
I saw the iPhone that fell 16 thousand feet and it looked perfect. Maybe my next phone needs to be an iPhone

OthersSomehow, a phone's ability to survive a 16,000' drop is of little interest to me.
I'd be far more interested in a phone's ability to survive a waist high drop, regardless of the angle of impact, face down, face up & corners.
I've done my part with a very high quality case & a Whitestone Dome Tempered Glass screen protector.
Aside from the unknown circumstances of a 16,000' drop, I'd be slightly more interested in my ability to survive this drop, and if the phone was not on my person, finding it may be an altogether different kettle of fish.

OthersHi SgtStubby, that is a very interesting question. The durability of a smartphone after a fall from an extreme altitude will depend on various factors such as the device's landing spot, the kind of case and glass protection it has, and many more. There have been stories of Samsung smartphones surviving extreme conditions in the past, but hopefully, you won't need to drop your phone from an airborne airplane. If you have any experience with your Samsung device surviving extreme conditions, we would love to hear about it!
