Telus snuck in an update to their schedule for updates but it won't make Samsung owners very happy with upcoming updates🤔

Carrier's Update Schedules are kinda like this girl.. Is she buried in the ground or...

Zoom in to find out 😉

My S20 Ultra got an unannounced Security Patch last week..They are slipping with getting future updates right, but you'd think that they could at least be historically accurate 🔮😂

You would think so but lately seems as if Samsung devices getting updates aren't a priority🤔

Maybe the Carriers are getting more of an incentive from Google, Motorola & Apple, than they are getting from Samsung? 🤔

I know that Rogers always seems to give priority to Apple over Samsung when it comes to promotions, and visibility.

There's also some Carrier features that aren't available to Samsung, but are available to iPhones.

Following the recent release of the March security update for the Samsung Galaxy S24 Ultra on March 1st, ahead of Google and becoming the first country globally to receive this update, it appears that Samsung has deviated from the Canadian carrier release schedule and is now aligning its update releases with other countries globally.

The first update for the Samsung Galaxy S24 Ultra was released on February 23rd. Canadian users were the first to receive the update, followed by users in the United States, Europe, and Asia.

We hope that Samsung will include Canadian users in the beta testing program for the next version of Android and One UI 7.

Not that it matters, but the update was first released in Korea, then the US, India, Europe & Canada.. but all were released on the 23rd local date.

Canadian Carriers NEVER released any of Samsung's Updates! They are ALL released from Samsung's Servers.

Carriers only provide tentative OS Update Schedules, based on the information they receive from Samsung Canada.
