The close-focus enhancement function on Galaxy S23 Ultra model will helps you take better close-up images more easily. It will activated automatically when you move the camera lens closer to the subject for close-up shots.
But if you do not want to use this function, you may disable it by turnoff by the close focus enhancement icon on the camera screen.
The following steps will describe how to disable this function.
1. Open the camera app and move the camera lens closer to the subject. Close-up focus enhancement icon will appeared on screen automatically. If the icon illuminated in yellow, it means activated.
2. Tap the close-up focus enhancement icon once will deactivated this function.
The function is also available on S22 Ultra and 21 Ultra.
