Samsung has recently upgraded its Samsung Pay by intergrating other useful features and perks under the new Samsung Wallet. Think of Samsung Wallet as a digital version of your real wallet.

Samsung Wallet is available only on devices running Android 9 or above. Available features and content may vary by country/region, device model, carrier, and firmware version.

Here are some of the highlights and perks of the Samsung Wallet.

i. Samsung Pay & Samsung Pass

Samsung Pay is Wallet's key function. You can continue to use Pay services for easy payment both online and offline. For details, check out Samsung Pay page.

Cashless payments made easier with Samsung Pay

By combining Samsung Pay and Samsung Pass into one, you’ll be able to store passwords, addresses and card details for easier online browsing and shopping. All your bank accounts, credit cards, keys and also those boarding passes scattered around your inbox can be stored as well. The entire Wallet is kept safe and secure as possible by allowing access through your biometric data as well as PIN number.

ii. E-tickets/ Vouchers storage

Store and manage various tickets for movies, sports and performances in one place. You can add them to the Samsung Wallet and then use the corresponding barcode or QR code to gain admittance.

iii. Loyalty cards

You can now store your loyalty program details inside the Samsung Wallet such as Watsons, Bonuslink, AirAsia Rewards, etc. Samsung users don't have to worry accessing multiple apps while shopping as they can use the barcode of the respective loyalty programme stored inside the Samsung Wallet when needed.

iv. Secured storage

Samsung Wallet is protected by Samsung’s security platform, Samsung Knox, which includes fingerprint recognition and encryption to make sure users’ important data are protected. On top of this, Samsung Wallet stores particularly sensitive documents in an isolated environment, which offers an extra layer of protection against potential digital and physical hacking attempts.

v. Samsung Rewards

Samsung Rewards is a loyalty program where users earn Samsung Rewards points by buying Samsung products and using Samsung services such as the Samsung Pay. Points earned via the Samsung Pay is based on a tier system and has a monthly limit. These points can be easily viewed and redeemed via the Samsung Wallet.

Simple and easy to use.

One of the best thing from Samsung Wallet is they got a reward system.

Hope Samsung Wallet will expand to more devices especially those lower end series.
