Hi Everyone.

Am I the only one who seems to have a fast battery drain after Android 12 update? . Screen on Time (SOT) . 3-4 HRS. So disappointing . I wish I didn't upgrade the software. My battery life was stable back then when I got the Android 11.

By the way my unit is the Exynos Version, Smart Locked.

Hello Albertoklein,

Sorry to hear that, about your unpleasant experience with Samsung Galaxy Note 10+ having issues with fast battery drain after an Android 12 software update and we apologize for the inconvenience.

As you may be aware, Batteries are consumables, and their lifespans are affected by their usage patterns and environments.

Your Samsung Galaxy Note 10+ has Li-Ion 4300 mAh, non-removable battery type.

Following are some basic steps to troubleshoot and tips to ensure your device battery life last longer.

A) First, ensure that your device is up-to-date with the latest Software updates.

Settings > About Phone > Software Updates > Download and Install > Follow On-screen instructions.

B) Quick Fixes to save battery.

  • Switch to Standard Refresh Rate
  • Lower Screen Resolution to FHD+
  • Adjust Screen Brightness and Screen Timeout
  • Disable 5G Connection when needed
  • Limit Push Notifications
  • Put Unused Apps to Sleep
  • Enable Power Saving Mode
  • Close all apps running in the background

C) Optimize using Battery and Device care.

Step 1. Go to Settings.

Step 2. Select Battery and device care.
