Introducing Auto Zoom
Auto Zoom, used in Flex Mode while taking a selfie with the cover screen, is a function that adjusts the zoom automatically to match the subject. Object recognition devices are being used for Auto zoom. Typically, face and body recognition devices are used to automatically calculate the optimal zoom ratio within the range of 0.6x to 3x depending on scenarios such as the whole body or upper body of the subject, providing you with an experience of taking pictures remotely.
※ Supported devices: Galaxy Z Flip 6, Galaxy Z Flip 5 (OneUI 6.1.1 and higher version)
How to use
Try using when
Perspective distortion is a phenomenon in which a close object appears large, and a distant object appears small due to perspective. The closer the distance between the subject and the lens, the greater the distortion. In the case of selfies taken from a short distance, the distance between the camera and the face is usually about tens of centimeters, so the image appears distorted compared to how you see yourself in the mirror or how others see your face. Using Auto zoom helps avoid perspective distortion by allowing you to take selfies from a long distance.
