Korean BBQ Day!

Been awhile since we dined outside. Been seeing a lot of my friend posting about this place on my social media and decided to visit this place. Just like how I love my Samsung phones, I love Korean food just as much!

Location : Hanam BBQ Malaysia, located at United Point Mall in Kepong

Samgyeopsal (pork belly) grilled on hot stone. Perfect balance of fat and meat, making each mouthful so juicy and flavourful

Kimchi is grilled together with the pork belly. The stone pan is tilted in an angle where rendered pork fat flows down to the grilling kimchi. OMG, grilled kimchi with pork fat is the bomb. Kimchi will never taste this good ever again.

Just look at the caramelization on the pork belly, so much flavor!

Gopchang (pork intestine). I always heard about this dish in my Korean drama and always wondered how it tastes like. OMG, MY WISH CAME TRUE. It is good. It has a chewy texture where the more you bite, the more flavourful it becomes. Not cheap but definitely worth it.

Just at it sizzling and bubbling away. The worse part of eating is waiting for it to cook because it is being cooked right in front of you, making it even more irresistible.

When it is perfectly cooked, it looks like caramelised onions. Definitely perfect with soju, I now understand why Koreans enjoy this combination. Too bad I am driving, so no alcohol for me.

More meat please! Added another order of pork collar. Look at that amazing marbling. You know the meat is going to be so tender and almost melting in your mouth.

More color, more flavor. I can almost heard Gordon Ramsay saying this.

Another batch of grilling kimchi with pork fat PLEASE!

Kimchi soup is a must for me everytime and it is so satisfying. Washes away the greasy taste on your tongue, so you can eat more bbq meat!

Steamed egg with the perfect charred/slightly burnt taste from the stone pot.

The place is managed by some Korean and Malaysia employees. Very polite and quick to service your order so that you won't sit there and become hangry for long.

If you like Kpop music, you will enjoy it more (your mouth is chewing but your head is also moving to the music)

Definitely will return again with an emptier stomach to enjoy the other types of meat cut. 😋🤤
