Gesture hint

Android 12. Turn off this function still not hide the gesture hint.

Have you tried turning this off and then follow it up with a restart of your phone?

Turn off and restart doesn't do anything.

Sounds like a more serious software issue. Might be something corrupted in the OS preventing it from hiding the navigation gesture hint. Did this happen after a software update? 

3 options from here on: 

- Wait: Wait for the next software update in hopes that this gets fixed. Lodge an official complaint while waiting.

- Factory reset your phone: A bit drastic but will reset most of the things on your phone and hopefully fix this bug. Make sure to backup all your important data before doing this.

- Contact official Samsung support: Might involve bringing your device to an official service center for them to restore/reflash the OS on your phone. This will overwrite everything, even the OS. Also make sure to backup beforehand. (Can actually be done at home, but is quite advanced and could result in bricking your phone.)

I can reflash the software but I'm afraid if the phone status turning to Custom. Samsung is the only phone I afraid to do reflash/custom rom especially when I use it as daily phone. Maybe I just wait for next update.

Hi, So far my Android 12 and Android 10 doesn't have this kind of problem. May I know which device you using? I currently using Note 9 (Android 10) and A33 5G (Android 12)
