I wonder what's app bug or Samsung bug

Samsung a52s  model.  I was shock WhatsApp was 41GB storage.  I wonder if what's app bug or Samsung bug ?

Have you tried deleting videos and pictures in Whatsapps?It might help.

Suggestion:

You can go to Files > Android > Whatsapp > Media .

Have a look at your Voice Notes, Video, Images incl Private - Sent n Received.

Usually those are the folders that take up space.

BUT REMEMBER any item once deleted goes to Recycle Bin and will be permanently removed after 30 days (assuming Recycle Bin is activated).

Personally, I review n remove them weekly eg pics/posters/videos/voice fr grps that aren't important nor of concern.

I know of some ppl who have such by the thousands (not exaggerating) eg good morning msgs, Videos.
