If SD card slot is a must and your budget is RM2000–RM3000, I’d recommend going for the *Galaxy A54* or even the newer *A35/A55* over the S series. Most *S series phones (like S21 and above)* no longer have an SD card slot.
The A54 offers solid performance, good camera, long battery life, and yes — *SD card support*. Great value within your budget! 👍
If you don’t mind skipping the SD slot, the S21 FE sometimes goes on sale below RM3K and offers flagship-level performance. But for expandability, A series is the way to go.

Just to add on 2k to 3k, you can easily get the A55 but it's a big ish phone vs the A54 assuming that's a factor .
I don't know about long battery life depends on your usage, mine has been quite mediocre but just be my usage

I believe even the A series have phased out microSD card support starting with this year's lineup
Would suggest getting an external SSD (or if it's on a bulky side for you, get an A2 microSD card + type-C USB3.0 card reader) to alleviate your storage issues
Hard to recommend but at that price range already can get the regular S25, S24+ and if you top-up a bit like 10% more, already in S25+ and S24U price territory during Lazada / Shopee monthly sales
