Galaxy ASome Samsung Galaxy A52 users have reported issues with the back cover coming loose, possibly due to overheating.
In my situation, the back cover of my A52 has completely detached, and I'm considering reaching out to Samsung Malaysia for assistance. Should I do so?

You can bring it to normal phone repair shops. They will be able to stick it back

Just want to share my previous experience with my note 10, having similar issue.
Went to 3 shops to glue back the back cover and it can only lasting for max a week. All three shops said only to glue the back cover as everything is ok, even the battery they said is all good.
Something is not right to me personally and my hunch is the battery, that might bloat a bit especially during charging that can cause the pressure. So, I went ahead with replacing the battery and woila, now my note 10 back cover is still attached since then.
So, probably you might need to have a look at the battery as well because, back cover won't just detached by itself if there's no pressure from inside.
All the best!

Place the backcover back and use a phone cover on it. Same issue I has on my galaxy note 9 before.
