I posted here about the pink vertical line issue and the cost to repair on the 30th of August. Post which a customer care representative contacted me via DM and asked my contact details. They called me almost after two weeks of sharing the details (i.e on 16th September) and requested the following documents.
1. Image of the vertical line issue along with the device details.
2. Image of the original receipt
Further, they inquired about the physical damages on the phone( luckily my phone doesn't have any physical damage).
I shared the documents on the same day. After scrtunizing it they contacted me on 20th of September and offered me a free LCD screen replacement. Moreover they requested to pay only the labour charges of SGD 54.50 which is reasonable. Once, I agreed to the offer they asked me to handover the phone to the Plaza Singapura service center since I told them that the particular service center is quite closeby. I went there today and paid only the labour charges. Finally, I was told that it will take 1 or 2 weeks to repair it.
