Galaxy JSamsung has released a new software update to the four-year-old Galaxy J7 (2017). The company’s turnaround in terms of software updates has been pretty impressive, and not many other Android OEMs can say that they keep their four-year-old smartphones updated with the latest security patch.
The Galaxy J7 (2017) has started receiving a new software update in Mexico. It comes with firmware version J730GMUBSCCUF3 and includes the June 2021 security patch. The company had detailed its latest software update a few days ago, revealing that it contains four dozen fixes from Google and 19 fixes from Samsung. The update is still based on Android 9, and it doesn’t bring any new feature to the Galaxy J7 (2017).
