Galaxy M
I hope you all had a sweet week-end. I don’t know what you did during that couple of days off, but once again I traveled to the future and found a new and yet unannounced smartphone to share with you…
Today, I will show you what I assume Samsung will launch in early 2021 as the ‘Galaxy M12’. Keep in mind, smartphones manufacturers often have confusing or geo-specific products naming schemes so I can't guarantee this. But here's what I know about the device itself.…

First, as some of you will likely notice, the Galaxy M12 looks almost identical to the recently launched Galaxy A42 5G.
It comes with the same plastic unibody rear cover, flat front panel and squarish rear camera housing, which includes up to four lenses, with a flash located below the camera bump.

So, what’s the differences between the upcoming Galaxy M12 and the already available and seemingly identical Galaxy A42 5G?
First, the back panel of the M12 has a unique dual textured design with a stripped upper section and a smooth glossy lower section which reminds me of what Google did back in 2018 with the Pixel 3 Series.
The other noticeable difference can be seen on the right side of the phone, which includes a fingerprint sensor embedded within the power button. This differs from the Galaxy A42 5G which sports an in-display fingerprint sensor and likely means the M12 may debut at a lower price.

Finally, the Galaxy M12 selfie camera has been integrated within an angled Infinity-V notch instead of a curved Infinity-U one.
The other details I can share are the display size and overhaul dimensions.
The display is a circa 6.5-inch flat screen while the phone measures about 163.9 x 75.9 x 8.9mm (10mm with rear camera bump included).
