Any body's cell signal improved after the android 10 update? Or still the same mediocre levels?

Hi Bro. I'm not sure how 'mediocre'it is as personally, I don't have any issue with reception, either from Android P and later Q version on my note 10. I have always with me my trusty S6+ together with my note 10, and using the same network provider, so I could compare both, in terms of reception quality and strength. Perhaps I miss something here which you could futher enlighten me?😅

Sup bro. It's been a worldwide reported issue with the exynos sets where the signals are not up to par compared to the SD edition. In a strong signal location like kl, it's really good. However if going to slow signal area, the bars drop tremendously. At times even showing 4g but 1-2 bars give no data flow. Here's one example: https://forum.xda-developers.com/galaxy-note-10/help/note-10-horrible-signal-strength-t3959816

Thanks for the link bro. To be honest, it's not a true comparison by comparing reception bar for the reception strength. A simple software tweak could just cheat the bar display, showing a full bar even it's a clear, known thing that area is a 'dead-spot'. From the link also the complaints were from Sprint and T-mobile in US, which to my knowledge using Qualcomm Snapdragon 855 chips. Anyway, thanks again for the info. Pretty sure I will do further test in comparing its reception quality.

Cheers.👌

So far me and my friends who bought the 10+ are complaining on the reception because we were either losing connection or very slow to respond on clicking websites. Of course it's not on major cities like kl as mentioned. We however moved from note 8 and s8 as our daily drivers so we actually did notice the difference in reception capability. The link was just a quick search, you may search for exynos related if you would like to know more bro. Just hope it's just an issue with software and not hardware related though. Cheers and happy new year bro! 🥂

Still the same.. still get two bar or none at all outside of major cities just like what has been mentioned by you..and it is very frustrating.. paid a premium price for the so called premium device but what we get is low end quality reception🤬 and this is a worldwide issues if my memory served me right. Ive read a lot of people complaint about this problem and already reporting to Samsung but to no avail..guess we just have to bear with it till the time we changed to new devices

Cheers mate. 🙌🏻
I heard Samsung planned on shutting down the exynos department because their chips somehow are unable to be up to par with the SD edition. Not sure whether really true haha. Rumours also that the s11 variant in Korea itself will be powered by SD instead. Hope MY gets it too 🤣.

Firstly i referred to the link you share, read the model is N975U1 SD version for America.
Secondly, how long have you monitor your signal? Do you know even know around festivals or holiday will affect the signal? The worst can't even call or sms, telco signal frequency also have a traffic, it will jam if a lot user is using including weather or even aluminium/metal also will restrict the phone's signal.

Signal was monitored since preorder period. I think me and my friends are quite aware on holiday periods especially school. As mentioned above, the phones are our daily driver. Also mentioned above the link given was just a quick search. Here's a more related link for your viewing : https://www.google.com.my/search?q=%22Exynos%22+note+10%2B+signal
