Back in August 2019, Samsung launched the Galaxy Note 10 series as the successor to the Galaxy Note 9 flagship. At the Galaxy Unpacked event, the company introduced the Galaxy Note 10 and Note 10+, and next year, the Galaxy Note 10 Lite was unveiled as an affordable variant of the flagship line.

The Galaxy Note 10 and Note 10+ shipped with the Android 9-based One UI 1.5 while the Galaxy Note 10 Lite came with the One UI 2.0 based on Android 10 out of the box. Presently, these devices running the latest Android 11-based One UI version 3.1 and confirmed to receive the three generations of Android upgrades.

However, the Galaxy Note 10 devices have got two Android OS upgrades, but they are still eligible to receive one more major update, reveals Samsung three years software update guarantee. It’s noteworthy that the Galaxy Note 10 Lite is eligible to get two more major Android upgrades, while the Note 10 and Note 10+ will spend their time on the Android 12 version.
