Knowing that there's no LED notification on the Galaxy Note 20 Ultra/ Ultra 5G, wouldn't it be logical for Samsung to enable an option for the front camera hole LED be used as notification. When the phone is picked up, the circular effect around the camera hole lit up for'Face Recognition'. I'm sure Samsung can make use the camera hole light effect indicating that there's unread messages etc. It lights up similarly as to 'Face Recognition' but in intervals of 2.5 seconds. It'll be even nicer to include selectable colors i.e. WhatsApp (Green), Red (Samsung Email), Blue (Facebook/ Facebook Messenger), Orange (Instagram) Light Blue (Messages).. Just a thought!

Beats double tapping the screen every time to see whether you have notification icons displayed on the lock screen.

Ya agree on that too 😃.
But luckily we still have other option to get the notifications light alert.
1. Notifications > Brief pop -up setting > Edge lighting style
2. Accessibility > Advanced setting > flash notification > Camera /screen flash notification

Edge lighting is ok, similarly to my Note 9, it shows once and disappears.. I tried 'Screen flash', not to my liking.. What we need is to reduce battery consumption not using more of it.. I think getting an interval pulse of the light effect at the front camera hole works just nice..
