I'm afraid you might need to replace the Spen with a new one. The capacitor battery inside maybe reaching its life span. Happened to me before on my N10 costing RM119 to replace a new one. But maybe it's a good idea if you clear the cache first as it's the easiest thing to do and doesn't cost a thing. Who knows it might solve the issue. All the best !

It's happened after major software updates few months ago and drag until now without fixes. Your spen is not the source of problem. Same thing happen to my note10+ as well. To make thing worse, now my display turn yellowish after last major software updates. **bleep** Samsung. So dissapointed with the brand already. Going for Huawei instead
