Smart Stay is not working

Smart stay feature is not working on note 10 plus. Anyway to correct above issue. 

(Android 10 with one ui 2.1)

setting - advanced features - motion and gestures - smart stay. it is On?

yes, i already done all those thins, but its not working and screen get off in few seconds as it mentioned time out.
my earlier A8 phone worked fine.
