If I am not wrong. You can get extra warranty for screen from Samsung. However, always be cautious when using the tempered glass. If the tempered glass breaks due to fall it might have ripple effect on the inside screen (depends on the height of fall). But I think it should be fine as Samsung now uses Corning Gorilla Glass 6. No scratches on daily comparing to old Gorilla Glasses.
Maybe they are saying what happens if the tempered glass affect the phone screen itself. Cauze a lot complaint coming from the fingerprint sensor issue.
As long if ur accessory is not under original Samsung they can find any excuse.
